The space is a double volume room located on the highest floor of the house. The client wanted a mezzanine floor diving the double volume space. We pushed the brief to another level by proposing a mezzanine beam attached to a sliding door which also acts as the ladder to climb up. Through this we were able too create a private space separating users from the other half of the room.
